UN Citizen Ambassador 2011- response to the call-for-entry

Excuse me Mr. Secretary General!
The root cause of global issues such as health and hygiene, illiteracy, hunger, crime and abuse is defined by one word- 'Poverty'. To eliminate this, the UN should establish the vocational educational institutions in under developed countries through which an individual of any age can learn skills that will aid him/her to earn a living without formal education. This can also help in the rise of entrepreneurial trends and the societies will become self sustainable.
I believe through worldwide implementation of this idea will make our world a better and safer place. Thank you

My message:
As an Engineering student with the passion for the arts, I try to contribute to the betterment of society by giving free lessons to my community members. I believe that if all of us will unite with one common goal and do our part by contributing to our society in any little way, we can make this world a better and safer place.

Its a great idea. I agree with it. The root cause of not just terrorism but for almost every evil in a society is poverty.
