nord wash commercial wva 14 washing machine and IPSO - final rinses

today was tuseday 25.08.09. i used the IPSO and filled with underware and white towels. and i used the other nord wash automatic wva 14 that was on the test wash on the previous friday, filled with my underware and 2 colourd bath towels. the IPSO was brialliant, when i started the nord wash on this day, it filled through the prewash detergent and immediatly advaced to drain for 10 seconds, before trying to fill though the main wash. it had taken the prewash deteergent and the garments were still dry. filling through the main wash, i noticed that the clothes were takeing an awful long time to get wet, so checking the detergent compartment, i noticed the hot water presure was very low indeed. i allerted the manager and she filled it up manually through the compartement with approximatly 2 liters of water which kickstarted the presure swich and filled up by itself, the water level turned to be very low. about 1/5 high. but washed o.k in the end.

bold orange 2 in 1
73ml fiary naturals conc. softner

the nord wash detergent:
persil colour care
vanish oxy action crystal
92ml fairy naturals conc. softner

the laundrett has:
2 x nord wash wva 14 14kg 600rpm, £3 a wash
3 X IPSO 12kg 475rpm, £3 a wash
3 x nord wash 8kg 415rpm, £2.50 a wash
3 x maytag commercial top loaders, £2 a wash

8 x hubeshe 20kg dryers, 20p for 2mins min = 10p a minuit

more about the washers:

nordwash wva 14 14kg washer's - the programms availaible on the machine are - hot, warm, cool (delicate) and hot drip dry. when the machine starts filling it continues to tumble clockwize till filling has finished filling, then normal both way action commences. high water level prewash about 3 mins tumbling before draining and normal water level main wash for about 15mins. inter spin, rinse 1 high level with 2 mins tumbling, inter spin, 2nd rinse, inter spin, final rinse, final spin at about 600rpm, antitangle - total time about 45mins

IPSO 12kg washing machine: programms availiable on the machine are - hot, warm, synthetics, wash and wear (without prewash), cold wash (without prewash). prewash with high water level and long 6 minuit tumbling, inter spin (without spin break), main wash normal height about 20mins. rinse 1 very high water level with no minuits tumbling after filling, straight inter drain and inter spin without spin break, 2nd rinse, inetr spin (without spin break), final rinse, final spin at 475rpm, spin break and 4 tumble anti-crease. total time - about 40mins

nord wash 8kg 20 washing machine - these are really old, programms availible are - hot, warm, cold, and hot drip dry. prewash with high water level with 1min tumbling, inter spin, main wash with normal water level and 10mins washing, 1st rinse with high water level and 1 min tumbling. inter spin, 2nd rinse, inter spin, final rinse , final spin (at 415rpm approx). no tumbling. approx wash time - under 30mins.

maytag top loaders - i havernt used these at all yet but programms are - whites, normal, bright colours, perm press, delicates, knit ware.

hubeshe dryers - 20p and £1 slots, equvlant to 10p a minuit, 20kg load space and single way tumbling, these are from the 70's / early 80's and variable heat

Old laundry washers are the best. I remeber my local laundry used to have Blue electrolux washers(3 progs) they were so much better than the Ipso ones, which they have now! They too took less than 30 mins and cost £2.00!
