Hey Larry, First off they call there grandma Nanni and they call there grandfather Bumpy... its just a nick name. If you want to use real Italian its Nona. Second they cook it that way b/c that is how Nanni dose it and she has been doing that way for 20 years... trust me it is the best Lasagna you will ever taste!

I hate jalapeños in lasagna. And they put bread crumbs in the meat,which I thought was odd. Ewwwwww...

Larry, you are awesome, even if you do have serious issues! BTW, why do you call that which is added to the not hot oil a condiment and not a vegetable? Just curious :)
