Allen West was the keynote speaker on the occasion of The Lincoln Bicentennial Dinner, This is the official Bicentennial event of New York endorsed by the US Abraham Lincoln Bicentennial Commission (ALBC) to celebrate the 200th birthday of our greatest president. The Dinner Celebration honored American Patriot and War Hero LTC Allen West with the Lincoln Bicentennial Award presented by Jed Babbin, Editor, Human Events.

I feel compelled to follow your ignorance with an accurate account of the events...

He wasn't kicked out of Iraq. He was fined $5,000 and offered an early retirement in lieu of a court martial.

West was charged for "Aggravated Assault" for his handling of an Iraqi detainee who was being interrogated (firing his pistol AWAY from the interrogate and scaring him into giving up two other Saddam loyalist thugs). This is the only condemning act of an otherwise prestigious military career.

The travesty of justice being carried out against three US Navy Seals for a recent case involving wanted savage terrorist's fat lip, and outrage that has ensued in support of our boys shows that Americans have had enough of our brave officers and soldiers (our HEROES) hands being tied in a hostile theater, and the ramifications of misguided, spineless, hyper-political correctness! People don't hold what West did against him; he's a hero for it!
