  • I have the same stove as you.

  • You are supposed to heat up the spices a bit, not just add them to cold water. Also, I do not feel that you are adding enough spices to make this curry flavorful. Thanks for the recipe anyway, but it's a bit timid.

  • Excellent! We are going to make this tonight! Excellent job! You are a really nice person. God bless you!

  • I just got done making the moong dal you posted- loved it! I can't wait to try this. Please keep posting. Your method is awesome. Thank you!

  • Good recipe and clear, easy to understand instructions! Thanks!

  • @buddahmaster yes if she fried the spices on a low heat for a few minutes it would taste so much better

  • @kavibaloo No. This *is* Indian way. In Gujarat and Maharashtra potato curry made in homes and festive occasions is like this. May be festive variety would be a bit more sweeter, richer and with whole garam masala and thicker gravy. India is a big country. And Bengali sobji that goes in luchi-sobji is different, potato curry of masala dosa is different, North Indian style garam masala saturated curry is different. But this is definitely *Indian* curry.

  • Very informative. TY

  • a veg dish .
