L4D2 The Zone

Work in Progress...

With this epic campaign i'm trying to make L4D into more of a free roaming RPG where you could load it onto a dedicated (and modified) server and play with more than 4 players (using 18 player mod or something.. maybe versus)

I'm trying to get it so the players can choose which area of the zone they wish to go to with the ability to go back to any other area providing you can find the route. featuring a Blow out system that will kill players caught out of cover - forcing players to play tactically and plan ahead.

I'm also looking into creating some unique features... Ability to hold items in a small inventory.. such as food/vodka to restore health.. ammo box which can be deployed so players can carry extra bullets... rad meds to get through radiation fields.. - obviously there will have to be some heavy editing and i'm only one person so these features might not make it without help since i'm a mapper

Level 4: Agroprom (SOC) - alpha
Level 5: Rostok - (SOC) beta
Level 6: Dark Valley (SOC) - not started
Level 7: Yantar (SOC) - not started
Level 8: Pripyat (COP) - not started
Level 9: Chernobyl NPP - not started

I'll probably be adding other locations from Call of Pripyat...

@kiarasho21 - The first song? Dirge for the Planet by a band called firelake. I had to rip the song from the game because the only album version i could find sounded very different to the one in S.T.A.L.K.E.R

@ElektraMode well adding items around the place isn't too hard. finishing the maps shouldn't be too much work either as most of the hard parts are done. i need to be careful of engine limits that i've hit a few times. maybe convert them to survival mode and make the maps a bit smaller with my details. I don't want to leave it unfinished. thanks for the feedback. if you upload that video let me know =D

@ladyboybassist Yep, just played through it entirely and we eventually noticed it. It was pretty fun, tempting enough so that I recorded it. Otherwise, may I ask what your plans are... such as "leave this campaign to die quietly in a corner", or is it being postponed, or might you finnish up some areas by filling them with supplies and such, personally I can do it myself with some scripting but was wondering if you'd continue it?
