Meeting The National 08.29.09

Mitchell, Monique, and I were the only people smart enough to hang out by the dressing rooms. We managed to score free carrots, autographed tickets from the band, The National. The vocalist/songwriter of the group, Matt, even chatted briefly with us. Classy man, he is. Perfect way to end a summer. =]

my best friend and i are super jealous, but heyyy we're from fresno and that's almost a 4 hr drive back home sooo yea we had to leave. but we did score a water bottle from aaron dessner hehe! AND also i had intimate eye contact with him LMAO! he smiled at me when i shouted out "90-mile water wall!" btw someone from the show stole my buddy's ran ban!!! that's FU*K UP!!!

I was back there right after the show ended, said hello but didn't want to stay because I was afraid I'd annoy them. I was all alone, too... Wish I would have stayed! So cool :)
