NYC Subway "Train of Many Colors" at 238 Street - Bronx, NY

This was shot on August 2, 2008 during the New York Transit Museum's "IRT Multi-Anniversary" fan trip. Here we see the Transit Museum's "Train of Many Colors" passing by the 238 Street station on the #1 line heading South towards 207 Street in Manhattan. That was a fan trip run by the New York Transit Museum. This is the "Train of Many Colors" a collection of subway cars from 1948 through 1964 painted in the many different color schemes of their respective eras.

Is there some reason why the Transit Museum hasn't put these cars back in Fan trip Service I like the R1/9's and the LO V's but Since I moved back up to New York the Fan trips i went on they all been etheir R1/9's or LO V's.
