I find it rather glaring, that Catholics expect their children to confirm at the age of about 13. I was confirmed, and when I tell me family I'm an Agnostic, who disbelieves in the christian god, my siblings are told I am a catholic, B/C I was confirmed. What reason had I, at 13, to understand the symbolic meaning of this indoctrination ritual.

I like the zoom in on Richard Dawkins face at 5:48 when his voice starts getting more intense, because it makes it seem that much more dramatic. None the less he is a brilliant man

@mohfoz77 bad proposition. History is based of hardcore evidence. Now you wanna make religion History? :P

I personally don't see the need of the God hypothesis for explaining natural phenomena, like organic life and the motion of the planets. Actually, as Dr. Neil Tyson points out, this assumption actually delays scientific progress. If He/She/It is out there, it's for something else...

@cleaboy1 It's God: The Failed Hypothesis. How Science Shows That God Does Not Exist by Victor J. Stenger,

Christian TV preachers preach logic and critical thinking?!? Since when did this happen?! Convincing thousands of viewers to donate a million dollars because "God said so" doesn't sound like logic to me.
I'm a vegetarian, by the way. Live in a family of ardent meat eaters. A child being "indoctrinated" to eat healthier shouldn't "anger" anyone. However, indoctrinating children to accept every word of a hateful, racist, ancient book of fairy tales is a menace to society.
