  • how incredible to do a youtube search and find out how many other people were so similarly touched. in all the "cult of youth" of pop culture, it's amazing to see an artist his age transcend that. the very message of the song. how love transcends time. i hope he finds (or has found) the reward he deserves for tapping into such a great muse for this song.

  • I don't know what this song does for me, not yet. It probably epitomizes all the feelings I have for pretty girls and classic music. By that I mean Doo Wop, R&B and generally, good love songs. Pure and simple.

    Thanks Jesse.

  • Wonderfully touching. I love when the when the Metaphor becomes the Words becomes the Metaphor.

I think of my Folks and their day... and my much older Brother and his... and my own...

And I can't listen to this without crying.

  • Gorgeous.

What an amazing songwriter & performer!

  • Way ta go Jesse... beautiful

  • Insert Justin Bieber comment here...

  • So great to see Jesse still has his beautiful voice and amazing songwriting skills. What a gift he is. For those who don't know, Jesse actually first "made his name" as an artist who expatriated to Canada during the Vietnamese war. He was later granted a pardon, or immunity, by the U.S. Government. But when he left here to go there, the move garnered much publicity, and LOTS of fans!! He holds a special place in my time and space, connecting old memories and old friends. Sing on, Jesse!!

  • What a beautiful tune! Great stuff.

  • A guitar, and a simple song, thats all it takes to touch your heart to the core. The words and tune will be remembered for its simplicity and thats what makes a memorable song. Thank you so much that they are still written Jesse.

  • @fa382 Better to remain silent and be thought a fool, than to speak and remove all doubt.

  • bloody ripper

  • @fa382 I don't believe anyone could be so full of hatred and anger. Fortunately most Americans are decent and educated people. But there are a minority of bigoted people like you that give the USA a bad name and reinforce the sterotypical American as being racist, ignorant and inbred.
