A very nice view of the hotel lobby, arguably the best looking part of the hotel. You can just see the detail in the architecture including the floors that have been there since the building was first erected.

  • It's a shame the building itself is pretty charming, but its original tenants will cringe at the way this place is run as of now.

Hate to see this building go for something as stark as 15 Penn Plaza.

  • a awfull place-only the lobby looks and smells good, the rest is seedy and musky smelling-and very poor service

  • memories from summer 2010 :) its a good hotel but my sister saw there a ghost :S

  • It should be torn down. The creepy/seedy atmosphere above the lobby will eventually result in some kind of criminal activity eventually resulting in danger for an unlucky guest.

  • Its all well and good having great detail in the floors and chandeliers, but the rooms are dismal and the sevice is awful. Great building, bloody awful hotel!!

  • I have to agree, the worst hotel ive EVER stayed in!! Ive seen better hotels in Eastern Europe!!

  • Alot of peole complain about the rooms here i was pleasantly shocked we only paid 110.00 a night CAD and the room was the biggest i have had yet in NYC seriously while it is not ultra luxerious it serves its purpose well and good luck finding a room in Manhatten this nice for that cheap!!!

  • It used to be called the Statler Hilton back in the 70's.

Stay at The Penn and you'll receive complimentary bed bugs. Free!

  • I love this building so much... its just a shame the interior is not original... what you see in the video is the 1930s renovated interior.
