Part 2 of 2:

We've had loads of questions about Black Button and how we made it, so we thought a video response would do the trick! One for the fans. Enjoy!

  • did you post the window yet i can't find it anywhere!!! If you did not when will you?

  • It's all finished, but we can't post it yet because it's been shortlisted for Tropfest (world's largest short film festival), and according to the Tropfest rules, the film must be a world premiere. If we don't make the finals we'll put it up here straight away. Check our website for details. Thanks!

  • Heey i noticed the window is up now so im guessing the festivals over? How did you do?

  • We made it to the final 60 of more than 600 but didn't make the final 16 sadly. The plus side is the film is now ours again so we can send it to other festivals and load it up on here.

  • why didnt you just use a greenscreen for the white effect

  • We couldn't afford one, total budget was $200. If we were to do it again with more money we would definitely use green screen. Our new film, The Window, has a green screen effect.

  • You guys are my inspiration as a filmmaker. I'm doing a serious project this year, a half hour film, and you guys, as low-budget, independent filmmakers, are my idols. Thank you so much for doing what you do. Keep on.

  • there was a sense of irony in the video which was awesome and the charactars made it that much more interesting cause they brang the point to life <3
