EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES:
•Students will identify general characteristics inherent to silent film making by viewing a full-length film and completing an accompanying worksheet.
•Students, working in collaborative groups, will select a conflict, plot and theme to be presented through their Silent Movie videotaped projects.
•Students, working in collaborative groups, will construct a Storyboard prior to filming their Silent Movie Videotaped projects.
•Students will dramatize actions that display characteristics of pantomime to ensure that all emotions are discernable to the audience.
•Students will appraise their videotaped creations and select the best takes and scenes to be inserted in the final product.
