  • This woman would rather have Santorum with his pedophilia scrum winning the Republican primary than have Ron Paul win based on the notion that perhaps Barack Obama could beat Santorum.

The left is that scared of Ron Paul stealing their anti-war thunder?

She has obviously lost all of her senses

  • The Grinch o.k. with all the other vulture 1%!

  • @donteatthefishsticks the free market has its own way of dealing with jobs people find undesirable or too dangerous and its that these jobs tend to offer greater rewards. i have friends right out of high school who began work on oil rigs and started between 60-70k a year. its a risky job, but necessary for our society. government regulations would reduce their pay to make the job only marginally more safe, but that should be up to workers, management, and possibly unions.

  • @lalem91 These models assume adequate competition (i.e. people are always free to move from their job to a similar job if their job is too dangerous) and perfect information (on the part of the people who are expected to evaluate the safety of their job). I'm not necessarily disagreeing with your point but to say that improvement in technology is the ONLY thing that can make an occupation safer is simply not accurate. I'm all for improving competition by deregulating, but not as an absolute.

  • @donteatthefishsticks the only thing that will make an occupation safer is an improvement in technology. government demanding that the job be safer will simply make the company hire fewer people. or, even worse in the case of the town you live in, have the company simply move its operation elsewhere in the world. and as for moving - well yeah. that's exactly how you would stimulate competition in a free market if you felt the "only" business was not treating you fairly.

  • @lalem91 I think it's pretty obvious the poster meant that Paul would oppose regulations that keep workplaces safe - because, in a free market, if a workplace is dangerous, people just won't work there! It works in theory but in the real world there is not and can never be enough competition for people to freely "choose" where they work. Most people have little real choice about where they work - in my town there is basically one employer. But, ya, me and everyone else here could just MOVE.

  • Goodness... This Megan woman is clueless... and not just on Ron Paul. On everything.

  • @RadioFreeWisconsin why would ron paul give your employer the power to kill you? that really is not true sorry.

  • I used to like you Newt but you can go screw yourself now.

  • Newt Gingrich?, fat draft dodging coward who wants to send soldiers to die with a war in Iran.Plus morality coming out his mouth?, how many affairs did he have?.Just ignore the parasite America. You need something new not this creep.

  • Ron Paul brings up important things no else does, but he's a racist old cook. If you want someone to legalize weed and end the wars, vote for someone like Nader. He won't give your employer the power to kill you on the job.
