Large Fishing Spider

I found this spider while canoeing in the Econolatchee River in Florida. I picked him up with my paddle and decided to take video and pictures. He seems unusually large to me since most wolf spiders I have seen were less than 2 inches. This one is approximately 4 inches or more.

Thanks to reddibacon for clarifying that this is a Fishing spider and not a Wolf Spider.

Is it weird to be watching a video like this and think 'Aw, it's so cute'? O_o Anyway, I'm glad you didn't kill it - it always saddens me whenever people do that, especially if they are outside. Why kill them if you can simply let them go?

@CrazyTreehuggingElf I agree no need to kill them. I found this spider unusually passive. I am used to wolf spiders running off at high speed to get away. This guy just ... goes huh.. human.. pffftt.... must be the trait of swimming spiders I guess. Thanks for commenting.
