the question is how much power would be needed just to sustain level flight. 40 rpm should do it. there would also be batteries but that would also add to the weight. as new designs go testing would be required. so far i have seen electric single engine aircraft fly.

Sorry kid, it won't work.

1. Magnetic tipped turbine fans probably won't work, and if it does you lose more energy moving those fans that they produce.

2. There is no such thing as a solar battery

3. A jet need kerosene or something to combust, otherwise it isn't a jet

4. Larger wings = more drag from the air = more power needed from the engine to push the plane forward

And the list goes on. But otherwise an excellent example of troll physics.

1. Batteries and solar panels are heavy

2. You will be lcuky if the motor can supply 5% of overall thrust

3.By spinnig thecompressors faster, all you do increase airflow which will make a requirment for more fuel.

Prehaps not this idea, but keep thinking! Why not connect only the fan to an elecric motor, use the magnetic tiped turbines as a generator. Reduced weight, Less bearing wear, but you would need an imense motor to power it, the fan alone uses over 10,000HP

Wow man, you failed bad. For one thing is that solar panels are not even 70% efficient enough to even recharge the battery to run the jet engines on motors. Plus, jet engines have to turn at more than over ten thousand RPM. (Not including the fans on turbofans.)
