In the original video, the doctor says that McCain's wife (and presumably McCain's skin specialist too) checks to see if any melanomas have come back. That is NOT the point. Melanomas per se are not necessarily the cancers that kill outright in and of themselves. BUT they are insidious primary cancers that very frequently travel (metastasise) to the lymph glands/bones/brain/liver and THESE secondary/tertiary cancers are usually the ones that prove fatal.

In this case it was waived by the patient ie John McCain allowed media access to his medical records. One of the journalist also happens to be a doctor. He was not there in his capacity as a doctor but in his capacity as a journalist who happened to be a doctor.

in an article for Huffington Post, Dr. Gupta stated that there was something sadly ironic with the fact that physicians and airline pilots are required to release medical records, but not the would-be president of the United States.

"The nice thing about Alzheimer's is you get to hide your own Easter eggs,"by John McCain
McCain is 2 yrs older than his dad when he died of a heart attack at 70.He is 11 yrs older than his grandfather when he died of a heart attaqck at 61.We cannot afford the risk of McCan dying suddenly in the middle of n international crisis.Nor can we afford the risk of dementia.Reagan was diagnosed with Alzheimer's at 83, but the early signs were evident during his first term.
