Alot of enslaved africans,were able to speak aswell as write Arabic.If you listen to the Adhan(Call to prayer for muslims) It sounds similar to blues.The resemblences are un-mistakeable.

one of the enslaved community of Africa, Mali. some communities almost destroyed completely by slavery 1600s. this song is Mali African descendants who remained beyond in Africa. when you relate this Malian music with New Orleans blues, it matches perfectly and this is where African Americans got their music. it easy to destroy language but not DNA and souls of the Peoples. long life inheritance overseas. long the unity of its peoples' roots.
