I recommend: "Legend of the Ice people" by Margit Sandemo...It´s in total of 47 books (in swedish anyway)...I dunno how many of those books are in english, but I TOTALLY recommend this series...READ IT! and let me know what you think of the very first book... :)

@bopplayer I cannot speak for every woman, but I can say that for myself, these sorts of novels are a nice,light, break from real life. I read a wide array of books, both fiction and non-fiction. A romance novel for me, is what I refer to as "brain candy ". It is a pleasant interlude. In short, because they can be a lot of fun.
