  • i dunno man, the toynami masterpiece diecast really is the grand daddy of em all. i was going to go with the plastic, but then remembered seeing it awhile back at this collector store in the case under a light and it did look pretty cheap. it had no sparkle or shine to it. looked like a dull piece of cheap plastic. when i saw the diecast there, i was kinda blown away. looked beautiful as hell! i am a collector and dont plan on flying him around the house in my hands, lol. well maybe once, haha.

  • @nicknasty14

dont get me wrong...i would love to own the diecast. just for me, its not necessary. the platic one still kicks ass! lol

  • @FISTFULxOFxENERGON i hear ya man. the diecast is really something else though. the only problem i have is the blue lion kinda has problems snapping into place. not sure if the plastic version has this problem. pain in the ass, haha. its nice to look at it though.

  • @nicknasty14

cant say i have that problem. he really is a incredible figure. although i JUST figured out a month ago how to put them damn black lions legs away when in combined mode.

  • @FISTFULxOFxENERGON hehe, lots of people were having same problem with the black lion. diecast ones too. just gotta straighten out the foot, then bend it down just a little bit. not too much, people were folding the foot all the way back first. blue lion was giving alot of people a hard time snapping into the black lion. gotta kinda bend the foot a bit first. diecast is very poseable as well. awesome detail on the toynami voltrons. i used to own a few godaiken robots and these are very nice.

  • @nicknasty14 duno what those are...ill have to look em up

  • @FULIAN totally agree, it blows away the plastic. voltron was meant to be made in diecast, plain and simple. i had the original golion back in the day and will tell you this, all the awesome robots made by godaiken and a few other companies were all diecast. thats what everyone wanted. you would always see the plastic ones not selling. i had a tetsujin28 also back then, same style carrying case as this. there is nothing like a diecast robot. overrated? not even close man.

  • dont get me wrong bro!!! i have both die cast and plastic!!! i just have my diecast on display!!! i have the plastic voltron in my office just to show my friends!!! but their both bad ass!!!

  • as is your opinion...
