m a borwn belt in judo studying in the UK and rolling is a great way to start the lesson because without being able to fall you cant have the rish of being thrown.

@dragan38765 Yeah, it's kinda the reverse way of I was taught it as well. You kinda learn the rolls w/o even noticing it ;)

Hey great video helped a lot. Half the time either I end up rolling to far to the right it seems like Im just rolling on my side. How do
I fix this? Also just to be sure my hands hit the ground first and my knees shouldnt hit the ground in a forward roll, right? Thanks for the help!

@qazzaqqaz3 The direction your feet are pushing you is one way to adjust your rolling direction (when rolling forwards). When rolling backwards, the kipping motion is the key element. Without it, it's much harder to roll over the shoulder.

schön fließende Übergänge von der Vorwärts- in die Rückwärtsrolle, allerdings muss man schon ziemlich trainiert sein um das so zu können wie du hier vorführst. *seufz* Beim zugucken bekomme ich auch wieder Lust Judo zu trainieren.

@Tossek86 Och, das klappt selbst bei den Weissgurten schon recht ordentlich, da man ja nie wirklich "fallen" muss, sondern sich langsam vom Boden hoch arbeitet.
Und Judo (oder Ju-Jutsu, BJJ, Aikido, oder was es sonst noch gibt) ist immer ne gute Sache ;)
