  • Thank you! So encouraging to see other QH owners "doing dressage". There's so much more we can do w/ our horses than the horrible AQHA show scene!

  • @QH1100 thank you we try to be different and use our QH diversity, they are wounderful horses!!

  • glad to know I am not the only QH lover that belive this breed can do anything, and all is possible, they are the best, good luck to you

  • My quarter pony and I are trying to learn dressage. Im loving it and he is coming along reall well

  • thank you for noticing my nice QH, and her nice topline , she is much better tody,

well, it takes much more training to get a round(er)topline since the hindquarters is more engaged, the level of training for the horse and rider will show when the hindquarters is engaged or in a collected frame rather,

natural conformation , well, you can do alot with correct training, good luck

  • So i'm curious...why do they train the hunt seat quarter horses to carry their heads so long and low like the western pleasure horses? Why dont they ask the AQHA hunters to round more, like the other breeds do? I show a morgan and the showing styles differ so much. I understand that QH's have a naturally flat top line, but they are not incapable of rounding and bringing their crest into more of an arch, like this horse up here did. Gorgeous horse by the way!

  • @HorseJumperGirl1

    Thank-you,

I will be posting some clips from us driving her too, she is just a great all around good horse,

she is confirmed at 2nd level horse in dressage and we keep working it is a constant progress,
