Yeapsystar's 1st Theremin-Play-Try-Out (LOL!)

On December 11 I ordered a thereminkit on http://www.thereminkits.com/europe.html and it came from Down Under Australia in the Netherlands on December 18 2008 ;-) After that, my boyfriend assembled it and it was for the biggest part finished on December 31 2008 ;-)

Allthough my wish to learn to play the theremin is a wish cince my 18th or so, the first time I ever touched a theremin was my very own one, so this one, and it was on December 31 2008! Before, I NEVER EVER touched a theremin! So well ... It isn't sounding that well yet, though I'm happy that I got some tones out of it at least, allthough the sound quality is a lil' annoying but we still gotta find out why that sound is just like it is! I just think that something is resonating with the sound so it might be needful and useful to build a standard beneath the theremin ;-)

Another thing is also that it wasn't calibrated well yet, so it was calibrated in an inverse way, hehehe!

All those aspects even made it more difficult to play, nevertheless I don't let put all things down, just go ahead! It's also just fun to try out, allthough I still have a while to go before I at least can play a bit in an itchy-pitchy way like Clara Rockmore, Lydia Kavina & Fay Lovsky :p

... Middels wel een hele aparte weg leren ;-) Das een heel verhaal op zichzelf, maar in het kort komt het erop neer dat dit via transcendente weg gebeurt ;-)

Jawellll! Ik ben natuurlijk altijd wel weer nieuwsgierig naar nieuwe filmpjes!

LOL! VOlgens mij heb ik die Moog net voor jullie neus weggekaapt ... :p

... Theremin leren bespelen is alles behalve gemakkelijk! MAAR, het is te doen al zijn een stel muzikale oren wel gemakkelijk ;-) Hij zal wellicht veel kunnen hebben aan de filmpjes van Thomas Grillo ;-) Die zijn ook hier te vinden op YouTube ...

Ikzelf ben nogal autodidactisch aangelegd wat betreft muziekinstrumenten dus het meeste tot nu toe heb ik middels eigen weg geleerd maar ga de technische aspecten middels wel ...

ja, je aprilopname klinkt erg veel beter. weet niet of m'n zoon dat na doet...

ja, inderdaad, we gaan naar wilco, maar hij heeft nu geen echte moog staan. het wordt 'n door wilco inelkaar gezette kit, met aflakkleur naar keuze. en nog geen PLUS, hoor. je hebt subscribed op mijn filmpjes, maar die zijn al zo lang niet geupdate... ik vergeet dingen te uploaden... groetjes anja

Nou ... Zoals je wellicht gemerkt hebt klonk dat speakertje van die Jaycar nou niet echt bepaald ..... LOL! Bovendien wassie ook nog niet echt gecalibreerd :p

Oh, ga je hem bij TeleTouch kopen ??? Ben mijn Jaycar een beetje ontgroeid dus heb vorige week ook een Moog Etherwave Plus uit 't Haagje laten komen :D ECHT WEL een vet ding !!!

... Ik ben benieuwd hoelang het gaat duren eer zoonlief er een leuk liedje uit kan krijgen ;-)

goh, wat ontzettend leuk! en knap!

mijn zoon krijgt als examencadeau een (kant en klare) theremin. volgende week gaan we naar het haagje. we zullen zijn eerste pogingen ook eens vastleggen. ik zal straks je andere filmpjes ook eens bekijken.
