Thirteen years after the hailstorm, and the Gabba was a totally different stadium. To hit the ball into the top deck of the recently constructed grandstand square of the wicket takes some doing, and this is what Brett Lee did. The ball was found in the practice nets outside the ground.

  • do you actually see where the ball went poor video

  • @merckin12 There was no replay of the camera following the ball, only during the lunch break they showed where the ball ended up

  • Have you got a replay where the camera is following the ball? Would be awesome to see it go over the stand.

  • Unfortunately I don't. That was all of it I had. I recall on The Cricket Show not long after that happened they found the ball in the nets, but I don't think I taped that.

  • The ball almost hit Carl Rackemann (former Qld and Australian quick) and his Daughter who were walking to the ground.

  • Guys, it's not the uploader's fault that the cameraman didn't follow the ball...

  • @TheSallyaccount could i agree any more?

  • 1. Put headphones on whilst watching this video

  • 417.... miss these days :(

  • BRETT LEE U F*CKING LEGEND!

  • I went to this game and the ball sailed right over my head.

I was sitting in the top tier under the canopy. The ball hit the canopy and then bounced off onto the road. Fucking amazing hit.

  • Daren Powell: worth an entry in the all time XI of useless seamers to play more than ten Tests? I think so.

  • @pickytheraver

I think they're made in New Zealand. Google them.
