If the 16th amendment was never ratified, what makes the American people liable to pay taxes on their hard earned wages? If I offer a service in return for money, why do I have to give my hard earned money to the government? Can you refer me to the law that mandates me to pay taxes? It is well known that corporate taxes are more than enough to maintain roads, schools and other public infrastructures and institutions.

ok woo! now back up every statement you just made with reliable sources.

taxation is theft fucktard. pointing guns at people and demanding they give you money is not nice. that's what the mafia does. and ignoring that, legally, snipes was totally in the right. look at the tax code yourself and you will see that he did not have any income that was taxable.

I don't blame him. I don't know what's going on here, but apart from anything else, half of our tax money we pay is a joke anyway, like paying to keep murderers alive in prison. Money well spent much!!!!

Well floks before we accuse let's think. Can we acyually trace we're our taxes are going? Then if so where is that information. Then what law, constitution or enforcemnet says that we ahould pay taxes, why are people no often reimbursed fo wht they should get for taxes etc.
I don't know Mr. Snipes motives but if he was protesting I can see why- who says areas that taxes go to are the things that taxes should fund.

I think the argument they have is that there are laws that state that the govt. can legally tax us on capital gains and profits but we cannot be taxed for the wages we earn in trade for our labor.

libraclassic, how ignorant of you! Provide verifiable supporting evidence that validates one single assertion in your post.
"Go stand in the corner. "
Prove you assertion or shut your pie hole.
Just one...

". Snipes won the federal charges against him & in similar cases of so called Tax Evasion defendants have won over the gov't because the jury had to acquit simply because there is no law on the books that forces one to comply. "
Snipes was acquitted of the felony charges, but convicted on the misdemeanor charges. He's a very foolish man: he owes ~ $13 million in income tax, plus penalties & interest. Now, he can't work for 3 years which will probably cost him more than $13 million.
