I love this song but no one has come close to Justin Timberlake's version on the Haiti telethon. I can't believe that version isn't still available on iTunes or Amazon or even the Hope for Haiti website. I'd pay any price, make any donation to get it.

I can respect your opinion on Justin Timberlake's version. To be honest, I think Jeff Buckley's version might be the best. I think he captured something with the beautiful words that Leonard himself could not. I do love the way Leonard sings it, still...

That's the amazing thing about Cohen's songs. I've never heard a bad cover. They lyrics and emotions in his songs just seem to transcend.
