Thanks for the comments...! I really appreciate it. Basically Marcuse's theory of desublimation means that the more a culture or society modernizes with industry, material goods, etc. the more the individual is lost. Instead society creates a collective in which everyone must abide by instead of seeking any kind of truth or original concept of life by themselves. At least that is the general idea. Take care
