Rising - Original Acoustic 12 String Guitar - Soldier Song

Probably obvious what the song is about. It's called Rising because that's what they call you in school between years. Rising Senior if you completed your Junior year. In this case, these people are Rising vets - they have completed their tours but cannot go home yet.

I am not on a big soapbox or anything - it's just a song. Sure, I would like to see our troops come home. I served as US Army Infantry in my younger days and it's a tough haul. I really can't imagine what those kids are going through now. It's a bad scene all around and that's all I am gonna say about it.

The song backbone came from my Original Piece I posted, here:

And was inspired to change it up by wildyoda2, who came up with some suggestions which gave it a darker feel which fit the lyrics and gave me a release for all the emotion that working on the Final Cut songs was putting into me. Strange how things work.
