Union Depot Contract

Representatives from the Ramsey County Regional Rail Authority, MA Mortenson Construction, and other partners signed a contract to allow work to begin on renovations to Saint Pauls historic Union Depot.  The team committed to an aggressive construction schedule, which calls for the renovations to the Amtrak, commuter and high-speed rail facilities to be completed by 2012 and light-rail facilities to be completed by 2014.

Commissioner Jim McDonough, chair of the Ramsey County Regional Rail Authority, Jolly Mangine, director of Property Management, and Tim Mayasich, director of Regional Rail, represented the county at the signing. Ken Sorensen, vice president and general manager of Mortensons Minneapolis operations, led the Mortenson delegation.
