@ScrewIntel could you explain what that means? Normal gearsets are 10.5 to 1 that makes a lot more sence, 10.5 bevel gear cycles for 1 sector gear cycle. but why do people use numbers like you wrote?
BTW get an SHS or matrix piston if your piston ever breaks cause i have setups like this that have lasted over a year of heavy use and never broken
-
Would last maybe 3 months depending on how you play and spray.
-
yes! that rof with an m160! my hat is off to you sir! i'll play with you anyday :D
-
This gun just screams noob
-
@HWXjohn true but what that WILL do is transfer heat (cuz we all learned that friction causes heat) from the axle and bushing onto the actually gearbox shell itself and seeing that ur running an m160 spring, u will crack the front in nooo time.
-
@Clactusucks the CA yellow piston will probably break first, then the TM monkey metal GB shell. BTW, normal gearsets are 18.72:1.
-
An 8.4 or 9.6 or 10.8 would work too. The matrix gearbox has torque gears so it will decrease the need for motor torque but also decrease trigger response performance and ROF.
-
@williamm3889 yes that will do fine but you will also need an 11.1v lipo with 20c or more
-
i got one of those matrix drop in gearboxes with a m160, do u think a matrix 3000 motor will pull it?

I love this gun, as long as it will survive :)
well.. the secret really is the magnum engine combined with a massive 12V battery
The speed is not that hard to reach, but it's keeping it in one peice that is hehe, take a long and hard look at your shiming, when tuning an AEG to perform like a semisniper it's actually better to shim the gears so there's some friction, not alot but enough to feel that there's NO play in the upper 2 gears. it WILL help in getting the piston to survive ;)

yep it's a massive trainwreck if i put it on auto, only reason i need that rof is to be responsive on semi-fire, it's a semi-sniper and will stay a semi-sniper, the box is still going strong tho, nothing new to report -same rof, same fps and still just as insane hehe. rock on people

uhm it's a CA shell and TM box with a mix of TM and CA internals.. so i wont haveto worry about cracking any shitty TM shell ;)
Thanks fellas
