A short movie showing the moon rising behind Knockvorneen in New Quay, Co. Clare [at the Flaggy Shore, on the edge of the Burren]. The recording was made using the timelapse function on a Canon G9 digital compact camera on a tripod. The camera takes a frame [picture] every 2 seconds and automatically creates a movie from all of the frames taken [there are around 24 frames per second of footage]. As you can see, the recording becomes more grainy as the light fades - compact cameras do not handle low light well.
