  • I live in Brookline, on the same road as the Brookline Event Center. Why does a charity event justify illegal, antisocial behavior on public roads? All the non riding public sees and hears is a bunch of loud bikes, and if your attitude is F**k em, we you're actually screwing yourselves and all other motorcyclists in the long run! I have done many charity rides in the last 30 years, including taking kids in my sidecar for the pediatric brain tumor Ride For Kids, and Fitzies Ride for Alzheimers

  • @husabob1 Not everyone on that ride had loud pipes. It seems that you find the noise level from the louder pipes irritating when it goes by, and I understand. But again, instead of generalizing perhaps your comments would do more good directed specifically at the offenders. We all do a disservice to any group when we generalize and lump everyone into the same category.

  • Loud pipes are unAmerican! There's an appropriate time and place for them, and public roads is not it! Loud pipes lose rights! The non riding public will vote us off the roads if we keep up this irresponsible, antisocial behavior. Get a clue, get some loud horns, and pay attention!

  • @husabob1 I've approved your comment because I don't believe in censorship unless abusive. But don't you think your comment is off-base on this video about a charity ride for a dying boy? Why not post your opinion on videos about loud pipes?

  • @studiopeg There is NOTHING "generalizing" about my comments. They are aimed squarely at the riders with illegal loud pipes. Perhaps I picked your particular video because the ride passes by my home, and directly negatively impacts my quality of life. The quantity bikes on that ride takes 15 minutes or more to pass and can be heard for quite a distance. Low frequency noise travels further. Perhaps the organizers of these runs should enforce a "No Loud Pipes" policy. People would slowly "get it"

  • Looked like a fun ride , hope the rain wasnt too bad probably just cooled things off..
