I was attempting to create a whole image by building up different sections (in this film 9 different shots). I set the camera up to film 3 high shots, 3 medium and 3 low shots - each of which I filmed separately so that although the movement would flow it would be like sticking a number of different pictures together to make one scene [based on the work and ideas of David Hockney]. The aim was for the film to be projected vertically.
