Best version was the Five Hand Reel version in 1976. First folk band to use electric and it sounds brilliant today. Charlotte's version was pretty.

No! Sorry but kids should not sing this song!! It's HORRIBLE!! I love Charlotte Church and Declan Galbraith but this is an old man's song. This is TERRIBLE!!!

i still love Declan's version, there's strong

emotion

in his voice and and rifts in the melody. this is

nice for opera and theatrical or sound track 

purposes, but still nice.
