Too bad. As long as there is some kind of show on the water, it works out though.

@Darthmed0516 I think the expense of the cranes is a problem. They still welcome trailer launched boats though.

What changed? The on-water part was a major draw...

@Darthmed0516 I might make it. They will have no on-water race boats this year. I might go just for display/support.

@Darthmed0516 Thanks Jon. The in boat footage was shot with a GoPro Hero camera. Wide angle lens. It works pretty good. And it's cheap too. Only complaint I have is that the sound quality is lousy because of the waterproof case.

Jeff,
Getting the itch to build again. Looking at going inboard w/ motorcycle (Harley?) engine. I have no inboard experience. Thoughts?

@Darthmed0516 I have no inboard experience either. But I suppose a Harley engine would at least sound awesome!
