The writer of this song and many of the songs on the Queen Of The Damned soundtrack were written by JONATHAN DAVIS of Korn. The entire group did not take part in this project for this was part of Jonathan's solo debut. Mr. Davis did do the vocals for the songs he wrote in the movie itself but was not allowed to do so on the soundtrack. I have no idea why and frankly find that a bit ridiculous. Either way Jonathan CHOSE his good friends who also are popular artists to do the singing for the soundtrack. So I don't really care which version is better cause both are very talented in their own ways and brought a different sound and feel for the song. You are free to state your opinions but any negativity will be deleted.




This is my favorite song from the movie Queen Of The Damned.

The movie wasn't all that great with the exception that it was Aaliyah's last movie before she died and the fact that Stuart Townsend is freaking HOT! Damn you Charlize Theron!!!

Anyways I threw in a bunch of pics from the movie(mostly of Lestat) So enjoy!

i do find it kind of anoying the fact that jonathan davis sung on every song in the film yet not on a single track of the soundtrack album!

why get someone of his talent to write and perform the songs for the movie just to have other artists perform for the album!

just don't get that one!

WIKI SAYS: Originally, he was to perform vocals on the soundtrack, but due to contract limitations with Sony, he could not.[1] So he hired singers from other bands, each good friends of his, to do the vocal work for his songs.

Finally I found the David Draiman version with a good video, nothing against Jonathan Davis, but Draiman's voice just fits the song better IMHO.

It seems darker because the tone is slower, but to be honest i think jonathan davis is better, he can sing to any kind of music and a better voice..david is more of just a metalish voice
