Orion H2 on RF Punch 500a2 #3

Wanted to test out this amp. It's wired at 4 ohms and does 125x2 @ 4 ohms (which is what i was running it at), 2x250@2 ohms and 500x1 @ 2 ohms bridged. I had the gain up 75%, bass knob up all the way, and volume at 60%. Keep in mind this sub handles 2000w rms and Directed recommends having at least 1100 watts rms to it, this was gettin 125w rms and being that its probably underrated, maybe 200w rms, if that.

u pay big for the sub. but how could u cheap out on the amp?

Got the sub in a trade so I got a good deal out of it. But cheapin out on the amp is not what I did. I had the amp laying around and I had my Treo SSX 1500.1 on the way. You'll be surprised how loud it got with that amp, it's quite underrated. Anyway, I sold the DD and now in the works of a TC 5200. The DD won't come close to sounding as good and I'll be able to get louder with the TC. I've been through several systems since that DD, maybe about 5 or so.

hmmm...i knew they had their products as an upgrade for vehicle but never knew they had aftermarket stuff...damn they must really suck, haha...but they got some nice home audio stuff and stock upgrade systems

yea when i have it on you can heaar it from like a block when im driving downtown but i want it to be heard from longer away will a bigger watt amp do the trick ? i dont have a face plate either i had the best system voted by some friends of mine my opponent spend 3 grand on his and i spent 600 i want to sell my amp for like 200 and buy another friend of mines 2000 w amp for 160$ what you think
