ArtsFirst @ AIB introduced the world of design to high-school students. Students worked at high velocity (the speed of the world), and discovered how design strategy can be applied to whatever problems they may face. During the workshop, students quickly came up with an event, and took a piece of paper and charcoal to create a mocked-up newspaper front page to help illustrate their event. From there, they learned how designers see differences between ideas and concepts, and how you can begin to determine the value of design.
