Railfanning UP Mojave Sub:UP,BNSF, and 70MPH trains!!!!!!!

After a Scout campout at Red Rock Canyon, I went to railfan. We went searching for trains. Then, we saw one. It was a slow day, but it was still good! Thanks Danny for the help!!!! He are the trains I saw..... BTW, check out the pacing video of the UP manifest out of Mojave with the Freight Train Blues background music. It's terrific!

Train #1- S/B UP Manifest rolls through Rosamond with a GEVO leading!

Train #2- N/B BNSF 4737 Leads a Z-Train at 70MPH at Boron!!!!!!

Train #3- S/B BNSF Bare table Flying through Boron at 70MPH!!!!

Train #4- S/B BNSF 5244 leads a 12 engine power movement with Dash-9-44CW,ES44DC,C44-9W, Warbonnets and H1,H2.and H3 paint schemes!!!!!!

Cool vid. I have railfaned this area lots of times over the years. I even shot vid of Amtrak's detoured Coast Starlight trains passing through this area. Soledad Canyon is just south of this area along high way 14 and there are some cool spots to get shots of Metrolink trains & UP trains.

I was there for the coast starlight on the 25 of Jan. I had my first railfanning video there. Its a lot of fun there. I havnt railfanned the metrolink yet. there a lot of places to pace out there!

trains only account for 0.02 percent of all emsions, bnsf can move a ton of freight 425 miles on a gallon of desil, i want to see a truck do that, TRAINS ROCK

Another sign of the bad economy is when you see a lot of intermodals that aren't double stacked. I live by train tracks here in Fremont,Ca, and the last few months I'ved noticed a drop off in the # of double stacks.
