  • you're obviously a fan, Jack, and I won't knock you for that. A real-life experience at a gig is far superior to either TOTP performances or youtube clips submitted by music fans. So much of the atmosphere of a live event is lost , both visually and sound-wise on these tiny screens......but it's better than nothing.

  • Rab,

I understand that, but personally I'd still rather see real live performances - warts and all.

  • jack...anyone who followed early 70s TOTP remembers the efffective pantomime produced by WIZZARD members, around 1972-74. It was professionally shot by experienced BBC cameramen, unlike the above well-intentioned---but amateurish filming. n this youtube clip, there is no cutting to different angles or closeups, it is static and uneventful........hope that clears up your mis-understanding.

  • How can you possibly prefer someone miming on TOTP over proper live footage!

  • i agree......this is better than NOWT, -----but the punters want the TOTP footage!!

  • Has anyone got the Top of the Pops version of this track? It had been posted but seems to have been taken off.
