This so reminds me of the Queen Mary Voyage to 1939 tour I went on years ago. It was so much fun! RIP Leslie Nielsen.

The RMS Queen Mary. The SS Poseidon. Whatever the name, as it is the same ship, she is so pretty & her movie,TOTALLY AWESOME!!!!

Just saw The Poseidon Adventure on New Year's. I still amaze on how they made the movie. And the Queen Mary gets prettier every time I see her.

One Titanic movie made in the 70’s also used the Queen Mary as the set with little or nothing in the way of “ageing” The acting was really good, but the out-of-period set along with stock-footage sinking shots from earlier films was a real spoiler.

Excellent Video, the only slight problem is that in "The Poseidon Adventure" we find out that the S.S. Poseidon was built as the RMS Atlantis and since 'RMS' stands for 'Royal Mail Ship' it is more likely that she would have sailed from Southampon. Other than that, Great Job!

Correct. Poseidon's original name is RMS Queen Mary. This video show Queen Mary at her finest before she was rename Poseidon. You know in real life SS Poseidon is alive & well in Long Beach as once again Queen Mary

I know. See it this way, the SS Poseidon made her final voyage from New York to Athens, so I thought it would be very neat to have her maiden voyage from Athens to New York!:) Hope you enjoyed my clip!:)
