All three species of Copper Pheasants; First the Soemmerring Copper, Ijima Copper and Scintillating Copper Pheasants in this order...All three are kept by a breeder in Belgium who has wonderful results breeding all three...I have noticed in the USA that these three species have been crossed by breeders, so all are lost due to cross-breeding. By the way a few of the hens were hidden in the corners while the males displayed partially. This could be one reason many breeders loose their hens due to not having pheasant furniture.These birds need deep cover with many hiding places for the hens during breeding season...

  • @nwre1 Hi, it was the beginning of breeding season and I didn't want to jeopardize the hens who were already in hiding.
