  • This is an briliant fusion of mozart strinquintet 516 slow movement

schubert stringquintet beethoven stringquartet 127, and in between

some mahlerian and and the end an brucknerian final.

Best film music ever, what a pity Greenaway and Nyman quarrelled

some time, after that it was finished for them both.

But this film was their best moment, one of the most inspired in

    images and music

  • @Edgar1946 With the minor difference that I, for one, love Michael Nyman;but in terms of Mozart I agree with Glenn Gould that he was "the composer who didn't die too early, but too late." Except for his Haydn Quartets maybe.

  • @superMrRider Yes it´s beautifull. But you know that is a assembly with Mozarts Sinfonia concertante, Mvmt. 2. Nice cooperation between Nyman and Mozart.

  • This music and the whole atmosphere of the film just awakens such strange, deep feelings in me...

  • Amazing

  • What to say about this? ... beter, more beautiful is not posible ...
