  • very informative video, thanks a lot!

I'm still a beginner with fishing and it's hard to find detailed videos as much as this. Thanks again

  • @bu7sein Glad that you've found it useful! We'll be making more how to fish videos in the future, stay tuned. :)

  • How heavy should a spoon be if your fishing in a deep lake

  • @canadianKIKI What's your definition of deep? 10'? 50'? 100'?

The size of the lure used usually depends on what you are fishing for and what they are eating. The size should be similar to the size of their food items.

  • hey rod just subbed, love your video, im new to lure fishing & find your videos extremely helpful, although i live in the uk, the techniques should be the same?

  • @palmer3977 Thanks. Lure fishing technique for trout etc is pretty universal so it should work over there just as well.

  • Thanks for this! I've only ever done tenkara fishing. Trying to get the hang of fishing with a reel.

  • very nice video! ty

  • What would you recommend i use for deep salt water fishing by way of lure and technique? I am in the Caribbean Using a medium 10' Diawa

  • @canadianKIKI If you are fishing out deep, I assume you are in a boat. In that case your best bet for hitting deeper depths while keeping the lure size correct for the species targeted would be to use a down-rigger. That is what they were designed for.

  • spoon fishing is my favorite type of fishing I also think it is more fun than bait fishing etc... thank you for the video

  • I have only seen a few videos that match the quality of this one. A++++, Excellent video.
