The original is beautiful. Here in the West we rarely hear singers who embrace microtonal music and few guitarists other than Jeff Beck who incorporate it into their style.

Nadia (nud-ee-aa) means a lake.
Behna (verb), Behree (version of the word) means to flow.
Gayee (ga-yee) means "went" but here it means to imply it went on.
So Nadia Behree Gayee means the lake kept flowing (away).
At least that is what I think.
