Cat Pyometra

Pyometra is an unfortunate common problem of intact females.

The uterus becomes infected and pus start distending the uterus and the abdomen like in this case (called closed pyometra)

It is always advisable to spay your female pet.

Always consult your veterinarian for the best care for your pet.

why were the legs tied down?

@TheFoxAcount it got infected which caused it to become inflamed and started filling with pus. That's why it was so big, I'm guessing it was left unattended for a while also until the owner saw the cat wasn't acting normal

Oh my gosh.. that poor cat. I'm definately spaying my kitten when she gets older... :(

At least this kitty is doing well now. That would be simply awful to be lugging around in your body..
