  • @TheMakelele8 Well I have too and I was born in Northern Europe. If we define Northern Europe as Scandinavia, Baltic States, British Isles and neighboring areas. The Celtic areas of Britain have the darkest and reddest of hair coloring.

  • @amasonga Brits are darker, I have been all over northern europe and brits are the darkest regarding hair color.

  • @TheMakelele8 The Celtic strain is an ancient one in Europe, on one hand it combines a freckled/very pale skin("milky"), light eyes and red hair. On the other hand, it combines pale skin, usually light eyes and dark hair. These features are just varieties of light-pigmentation in North-Europe and has nothing to do with Romans. It is older than Rome. "Germanic" strain is youger, combines blond to brown hair with light eyes and a fair skin, but little less fair than the Celts.

  • @TheMakelele8 In terms of light eye colors, they are very similar to other Northern Europeans. As a whole, French people are darker, since light hair and light eye color are not in the majority and the British are way paler in skin complexion than them. Especially the Irish and Scottish

  • @TheMakelele8 In terms of stature, they're about the same. Only Holland today is definitely taller due better nutritional programs. Fifty years ago Hollanders were shorter than British people especially the Scottish. So your point in terms of height is irrelevant.

  • @TheMakelele8 It depends how you define brunettes? See. The majority of adults in Holland have brown hair of mostly light shades, the second commonest is blond. The areas of Britain which were heavily settled by Saxons/Vikings reflect the same. The Celtic areas are darker nearer Wales, Scotland,Cornwall,Devon, but are more red-haired!

  • @TheMakelele8 Not true. Dutch,Scandinavians, some north germans are as a group a blonder than British Isles peoples. However very pale skin complexions, freckled types and red hair is more common among Brits than anywhere else. For this reason, I cannot claim that they are much lighter.

  • The Celts or Britons came from Iberia and they in turn have emigrated to England.

    So what?

  • @Arabova159 Thats because brits have dark complexion compared to other northern europeans, I have extensively traveled throughout UK, Ireland, germany, Holland and scandinavia. out of those only Scandinavians, dutch and north germans look like proper northern europeans, mean by it tall naturally blond and germanic featured. WHite british people look like they where partially roman or some dark strain in them, along with sad dark hair colors and different features.

  • @amasonga Isles is way darker than holland, and if saxons who entered britain where brunette then why modern people living in saxon areas of holland and northern germany are nowadays blond? brits look weird featured and shorter/darker in comparison.
