@fireflyxl5 It has been released on the Corries Anniversery DVD which I think shows this whole concert. Available from the Corries Website if you like it

This lovely poem was discovered and put to music by my friend Ian Richardson who was frontman of Brocade in the seventies. He also wrote Scotland will Flourish, also recorded by the Corries and was Donald Dewars favourite 'anthem'

@pomemax the instrument roy is playing is called a combolin.he designed it himself i dont know if he had a hand in building it also.there were only a few of them made.i think his wife sold them after he died.so some lucky person ownes something so rare and wonrerful sounding

What a lovely tune! So simply arranged and performed, Great listening!

I was just reading the wiki Corries entry and they say the combolins were of Roys making?
-
@fireflyxl5 I think Roy designed and built it himself.....could be wrong.
They both use it on Loch Tay Boat song.

This is a lovely musical version of one of the most interesting, compelling love poems ever written. Five stars and two thumbs up!

There is a clip on the same tape of 'Lads Among heather' Ronnie Brown says 'Please hum along, no-one hums like a Glasgow Audience'. I'll post it in the next couple of days:)

Hi guys, this is a new one on me and I thought I had heard all the Corries' output over the last 30 years. Brilliant!

There were two Tribute programmes to Roy Williamson when he died. There is the one which starts with Killiecrankie, Roy and Ron walking up through Pitlochry, that was released on video.
Then there was a second one this clip is from. It was put on about 3AM, so perhaps not many folk taped it!
