is this camera on during the taxi and takeoff ? or is it off, and on only after takeoff ?

this camera was on all the time if u get into the camera channel. however, this is A346, so it doesn't apply to the 773ER used now. The camera channel on the 773ER are on during landing , mid-flight, last time it wasn't on during takeoff.

Oh, then my flight was the 1 stop in Anchorage, Alaska. Though, it was a very lnog flight since it had to fly alll the way up and then back down. Hmm... i never heard of an emergency like that, but anyways it was an Airbus A340 that took me there and back.

i used to take the one stop when the non-stop was not over, and yea it was brutal, especially during winter. I was once in the plane for 22 hours inlcuding delays in Anchorage due to snow storm. The emergency landing I was talking about was the one last month I think? It was a non stop flight and it had to fly another routing due to volcanic eruption, and the plane nearly ran out of fuel.

there's another flight i took with cathay to toronto during the evening...it took 19 hours total; plus another hour delay because there was a volcanic eruption that was blocking the plane's path and had to take an alternate route

was it the nonstop or 1 stop one? this one is the non stop 826, the one stop one is 828. But yea, I remember hearing a CX826 plane a couple months ago had to make an emergency landing due to super-low-fuel left.
