A preposterous trailer, not making whatever point he's trying to make AT ALL.

Warrick has done nothing but steal/borrow clips from ads, films, tv without rhyme or reason. I've worked in the "subconscious field", one might say, for decades and was looking forward to a documentary with substance. This doesn't appear to be much of anything except confused gibberish.

It's like watching a rant by a 9/11 "Truther". Goofy packages of audio/visual gibberish.

@MrTrapezius1 This trailer was made 5 years ago to raise funding for the feature doc. Which it did successfully. In fact, the film is opening theatrically in SF this Friday, Oct. 28 at the Balboa Theater. It recently premiered in both NYC and LA also. The official 2011 theatrical trailer is located on my channel OR at ProgrammingTheNation. com. FYI - critiquing footage from ads, films, TV is called "fair-use" NOT "steal/borrow".

Sad to think all these politicians are Manchuren Candiates and are being told what to say to us. JFK is the only president I have ever felt close to or admired and I wasn't even alive when he was President. We are living in one huge Truman Show! Right now in America it's the Bush show. I don't hate these people, I actually pray for them to turn the switches off that are conrolling their minds. They are killing us!

I recommend "Century of the Self", a BBC documentary on a similar theme. 4 hrs. Edward Bernays, who was Goebbels' hero, was Freud's nephew, and adapted insights into the id ego and superego into the art of advertising/propaganda, which is why the base instincts are used to sell products and yes even candidates. Music is profound advertising for all manner of values, not to mention the foreground product of music itself. Rebellion? Free thought? Sex, drugs and R'n'R, brought to you by Sony, etc.

i have worked in the industry for some time. Short and simple answer is: Sexual imagery dominates advertising. Lust,gluttony and greed :)Frankly said, those three things will bring end to us all. Last few years it has moved to more brazen and open "messaging" which is combined with subliminal still.

@IgniteTheMind Because you can't read fast enough doesn't mean its subliminal. I never read fast enough to get all these "this video is for home use only, distribution of this is illegal" blabla in the beginning of most movie DVDs. Does that make these distrubution warnings a subliminals? Subliminal should be hidden message, that your conscious mind is totally not aware it even exists. Its like sniper wearing camp mile away in a bush. Altrough subliminals are "hidden in plain sight" not mile way

@TheMrSpam - subliminal thresholds vary from person to person. Maybe it WAS subliminal for you. However, I can clearly see the messages in there, and many others have noted the same. The reason I put it in was for illustrative purposes.
